1,089 new cases of Novel corona in last 24 in Maharashtra

Maharashtra stands with 14 deaths and a shocking 778 new COVID-19 cases

The Covid-19 condition continued to be bleak in Maharashtra with 14 deaths and a shocking 778 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, health authorities said. As a result, the cumulative state deaths grew from 269 on Wednesday to 283, and the number of Novel Corona patients fell from 5,649 to 6,427 today.

About 2.6 million people globally have been infected with COVID-19, a disorder triggered by the latest respiratory virus, according to statistics collected by the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. The real figures are suspected to be even higher owing to the lack of monitoring, numerous unreported incidents, and allegations that certain governments are avoiding the extent of their  nations’ outbreaks.

After the first cases were identified in China in December, the US has been the worst affected country, with more than 840,000 cases reported and at least 46,611 deaths.

No rise in the expense allocation for the year for workers of the Central Government will be rendered this year, the government declared. Central government workers and pensioners can continue to collect the DA at existing levels. Dearness Relief (DR) payable to central government pensioners due on 1 January 2020 shall also not be charged.
