As per recent study Kids who is suffering from symptoms of non-respiratory illness such as diarrhea and fever or anyone with a history of exposure to the novel corona should be suspected of COVID-19.
“Many kids are only slightly affected by Novel Corona and the few serious cases often have underlying medical problems. It is easy to miss their treatment at a preliminary stage when a kid has non-respiratory symptoms or suffers from another disease,” says the study did by, Dr. Wenbin Li, works at Tongji Hospital, Wuhan, China.
He Also says , “Based on our experience of coping with Novel Corona Case, kids with digestive system illnesses, particularly with flu and/or a past exposure to this virus must be suspected of being contaminated with this disease in areas where COVID-19 is epidemic.”
“These kids sought health advice in the hospital for issues, for example, each had a kidney stone, another had a head trauma. All had bronchitis revealed by chest CT scan before or shortly after entry and then verified COVID-19.
