Euro zone concurs 750 million euros of obligation help measures for Greece

BRUSSELS – The euro zone conceded to Tuesday new obligation help measures for Greece worth around 750 million euros ($840 million) as a major aspect of the nation’s post-bailout program.

The cash originates from benefits made by euro zone national banks on Greek government securities and the decrease to zero of the progression up premium edge on certain euro zone credits to Athens this year, said the European Stability Mechanism (ESM), the alliance’s salvage finance.
